Luckenbooth Ring in 9ct Gold

The Luckenbooth Brooch derived its name from the "locked booths" of Edinburgh's Royal Mile adjacent to St Giles Cathedral from which it was sold. Tradition tells us that a young man would gift it to his sweetheart and it was subsequently pinned to the shawl of their first born baby to ward off evil spirits. It was then passed down the generations. This ring features a Luckenbooth.
