It’s possible to find some great bargains on Sheila Fleet Jewellery – for example:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have made some changes here at MacGillivray’s, so we wanted to let you know what is happening.
Our website is still open for you to browse and place your orders as usual.
Because many of our suppliers have made the decision to close their workshops to ensure the safety of staff and customers, it means that we will be unable to supply many products which were available to us by return of post . Consequently, we have been working hard to update our site so that we are currently only offering items that are in stock – but, with quite a big website, it’s not always possible to find every last product which we would have to buy in. It’s frustrating all round 🙁
Finished stock is available though so please still place your order or get in touch with us at email@example.com if you would like to check if we have a particular item available. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes but we hate disappointing you if we have to cancel an order.
It seems as if brooches are back – Lady Hale’s amazing spider brooch was an exclamation mark, showing the style and the power of a piece of jewellery pinned to a garment. It would seem that any style goes – and, for some, (think Georgio Armani) the more pieces pinned to a garment, the better! So, we’ve got some lovely silver brooches which would make beautiful Christmas gifts for 2019’s stylish lady.
The three brooches here are some of our most popular designs; traditional, made in sterling silver and hallmarked in Edinburgh, they could be amazing, grouped together on a jacket or dress! We’d love to see your photo showing how you wear your brooch! Tag us on Instagram to let us see your Celtic style.
These special 9ct gold cufflinks are made in Scotland and hallmarked in Edinburgh. Featuring elegant Celtic knotwork, you know that the man in your life will love their elegant style.
Please allow 15 working days for us to manufacture and hallmark your special gift.

You’d love to buy a Celtic brooch in gold or sterling silver, but you’re looking for one set with a different precious or semi-precious stone? How often do you say to yourself, “I’d love to buy this for Auntie M but she only wears silver and turquoise!” Well, you know what, our silver and goldsmiths are versatile and we can request a quotation for you to supply a special piece of jewellery which is set with the gemstone of your choice. Sure, it might cost a little more than the standard offering and it will certainly take a few extra days for us to get it made for you. However, challenges like this are our bread and butter – we love it when our customers say that they’re looking for something unusual and don’t know how to got about obtaining it!
Please just ask us 🙂 Don’t worry, we’ll be gentle with you and will let you know about costs and timescales as soon as possible.

Well, the other day we were investigating possible storage units for our household goods for when we do our renovations. We went to look at one container rental business fairly close to home.
When we arrived, we parked in the industrial estate and walked to the storage area. All fenced in with an open gate, the facility looked clean, neat and well organised. So far, so good. We decided to walk in and ask in the office if there were units available.
As we walked round to the office, the gate shut behind us.
Although the lights were on in the office, it turned out that the office was locked – no-one there. The obvious thing to do was to phone the support number which could be seen on the units; this was the moment that I discovered that the battery in my iphone was completely flat.
Fortunately someone walked by and very kindly offered to find someone with the code to open the gate again so we didn’t have to spend the night in the storage units.
That’s what you call a #Margaretmoment 😂❤️☺️😅🙃
Did you know that we have a small shop on Amazon.co.uk? We’ve been selling there for quite some time – check out our feedback in our online storefront.
Amazon is extremely particular about customer service, speedy delivery and keen pricing. You’ll be delighted to know that we apply the same standards of service to products sold here on MacGillivray’s so you can be assured that we will look after you extremely carefully whether here on our own website or on the Amazon platform.
There are many products on our own site which don’t make it to our Amazon store and, very occasionally, the reverse is true. However, if you have a question about a product or would like to find out if we can supply something, please phone or text us – 07955 450739 is our customer service number.
We’re here to help!
Well, the answer to the question about my own Instagram feed is that results vary – and quite significantly! Partly this is due to my testing out the benefits of “pods” or “engagement groups” and partly, I suspect, it is to do with the hashtags I am using. Life is a learning curve and, when you’re late to the party, it’s not always easy to edge in to a crowded room from the front door. I wonder if sharp elbows would help??
Just my colours – this lovely brooch is sterling silver, set with a beautiful cabochon amethyst and some lovely pearls. The Glasgow School of Art attracted many talented artists and the Glasgow Girls created art in many different forms. This has inspired our silversmith to create this beautiful brooch which looks to the Art Nouveau period. It’s a really special piece of jewellery. #artnouveaujewelry #artnouveau #celticnouveau #brooches #artnouveaubrooch #silverbrooch
This is my most recent image on Instagram – I just love this brooch with it’s Art Nouveau inspiration but with it’s interlacing design too.
This is definitely not a Celtic brooch – this is inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, famous Glasgow architect whose designs can be seen in the Hill House, Helensburgh as well as the Glasgow School of Art, The House for an Art Lover and elsewhere. This brooch is sterling silver, made by a silversmith in Scotland, hallmarked in Edinburgh. #charlesrenniemackintosh #renniemackintosh #mackintoshjewellery #silverbrooch #silverbrooches #helensburgh #scottishjewelry #scottishjewellery #brooches #mackintoshdesign #hillhousehelensburgh #hallmarkedsilver #hallmark
When you see this brooch in real life – it’s an amazing piece of workmanship. The 3-d design brings the Mackintosh style to life. You can easily visualise sitting in a rose garden, looking at roses climbing up a trellis.
I’d love it if you would follow me on Instagram – my instagram name is @scottish_celtic_jewellery – looking forward to seeing you there 🙂
